Well....
On the 28th, I asked for help with using my Proxim Skyline 802.11b card with
my 2100. While I received one kind response from a lister regarding a related
issue, NO ONE responded with any help regarding my problem.
Turns out, all I needed to do was to click one lil' extra selection to make
the driver talk to the Apple software. I'll bet if anyone cared someone would
have caught that DAYS AGO and instructed me on what to do....
Meanwhile, this list has had long-threaded discussions on (1) fake prototype
Newtons, (2) capital numbers and (3) traveling issues with Newtons.
So what is the deal? Is this a help list, OR just a place for lively,
creative Newton-tinged banter?
