Say, we'd poll the pricing? Huh, now *that's* an interesting concept! ;=}

Anyhow, I faintly remember having cast my vote on this topic before. And
while there was a loud and noisy demand for internal Bluetooth, the masses
voted for more internal storage. I understood then that this were to be the
next hot item the caped prodigy inventor called The Amazing Mr. PCBMan!(TM)
would work on...

So, take more internal storage, throw in BT and Gearshift, and that'd
seriously rock! What else (besides the much-missed audio ports, USB 2.0,
and a fuel-cell powersupply instead of 4x AA -- or a cold
fusion-reactor...) could one possibly want!?

As has been said before and on other topics, it's also a question of costs
and pricing. The value of such a card would be (a) priceless, and (b) in
monetary terms something like

    EUR 99,-- (Speed Implant)
+ EUR 15,-- (used Sphinx Pico BT card)
+ EUR 70,-- (4 MB eMate memory expansion - just as example)
------------------
    EUR 184,-- or about US$ 200,--.

Now, that's what *value* such a card would offer the enduser, but of course
integration in one board will make matters somewhat cheaper, so we'll just
have to see what the final price will be. For obvious reasons I wouldn't
expect such a tasty item to be in the SER001-price range...

David, what features have you been thinking to include in that Meta-Monster
Board?

Cheers,

DJV.
