All I know is that he spent a week swapping memory in
and out of his ibook and none of the dimms worked.
When sent back, they were tested and they tested
fine...we didn't have another laptop that took that
memory, so we couldn't test it ourselves...
But, when he took the ibook to an apple store and the
guy opened an Apple box, there was a stick of memory
in it and he put that stick of memory in his ibook and
now it works.
