Betty, Michael,
I did something to my dates (don't know what..) which allowed me to
get dates into (a blank) iCal calendar with NewtSynt which made sense
(no more piling of hundreds of repeating meetings into the 1st of the
months of 1997).

No repeating meetings. No events or several-days events. But lots of
normal meetings, back to 1997. Had to repeat transfer several times;
it appeared as if the program only 'saw' some of them at first. The
syncing (transfer, really) stopped at a record one more that it
claimed there was to transfer (all known issues I see).

On the 30th of March 2004 and thereafter the meetings in iCal are
scheduled one hr later than on the Newton. Change to Summertime is
the 28th and my first single scheduled meeting thereafter is on the
30th. My Newton knows about summertime, I've seen it and there is a
place to alter the dates or select various versions of
summer/standard time changes, but now I cannot find it..... I dont
think my Mac knows yet.

If a situation like this is truly synced (with a setting: Newton
wins), will the times on the Newton change?
And if this is synced after the 28th of March, and my Mac is
'summertimed', will the off-set persist?
