I think that a 2100 is really what you need.
There is a company in the US called J K Sales that do them for good prices
and the condition of the machines I have received from them has been
excellent - almost new in fact.
Take a look at:

Shipping is not expensive and it's a more reliable option than eBay.
You can cut down the spec to match your budget like not having the screen
lid and finding a good inexpensive case instead.
