Well, I don't know about you, but the way I read it the OP wanted $50
per Newton, and wanted to sell an insane number of Newtons in one go.
And also wasn't sure if they would have accessories. So I made an offer
that a: reflects the fact that IN THE UK, the Newton market is much
smaller, especially with the 2100, b: requests that the OP makes some
effort to gets bits together (I'd be hoping for an original 2100 rather
than an upgraded 2000, though it doesn't matter that much), and c:
reflects that it would need shipping to the UK - whilst I'd pay for
shipping it does mean some extra hassle. I do want my intertconnect
port, I do want a screen cover and stylus. I'm not after a 2100 for
spares, I'm after my first 2100.

I've been utterly swamped by people offering to sell me their 2100 for
that insanely expensive offer. No, really, I have. Look at all the
2100s I have now.
</sarcasm>

I suspect that you're insulting the intelligence of the original
poster, suggesting that they weren't aware of what J&K etc. sell 2100s
for before deciding on a price /and/ assuming that they would go back
on that just because people have reacted in a manner that makes it seem
a bargain. He'll know it's a bargain, but he also has 1,400 or more
Newtons to get rid of.
