[NTLK] Palm Desktop vCals

Does anyone have experience exporting vCals from Palm Desktop on
Windows? I'm wondering how easy it is to export calendar events that
may occur over a wide range of months.

Here's why I'm asking (warning - it gets pretty boring from here). I
have an ongoing obsession with trying to use my Newton with a
calendaring system we recently started up at work. The calendaring
system uses the PIM module of Lotus Notes. We found an app that will
synch the Notes calendar with a Palm device. Now, of course, I hit the
age-old question of getting data from the Palm to the Newton.

I'm thinking about exporting vCals from Palm Desktop, e-mailing them to
my home account, then pulling the file down to the Newton. I'd then
use IC/VC to populate the Newton.

My thought is that I won't worry about actually synching; I don't
really want data from the Newton to go into the Notes calendar. In
essence, I just want to publish the calendar events to the Newton. And
instead of synching, I'd just keep the published data on a card. Each
time I need to update the Newton, I'd just erase the card, then pull
the calendar again.

Am I crazy? (BTW, I plan on using my wife's Handspring, which I expect
will be retired soon).
