Thanks everyone for the info on printing from the newton. sounds like
ethernet to networked printers (mostly Epson and HP) are the most
common solution (or do some of you have direct ethernet card
connections in your printers?), and that printpack is not used much
anymore, if it ever was. IRDA sounds pretty cool, too.

  I was mostly interested in finding the best solution for when you're
on the road, have some notes you really want to print out, and only a
hotel business center type setting available. sounds like the best
option for me might be to have an ethernet card, a spare cable, and if
all else fails, email the file to a desktop with a printer.
