Yepp, this is a known problem with Win2k... I might be able to fix it
at some point, but it is quite difficult. The problem is that the
Newton times out if nothing happens for some time, but Windows takes a
while to show the IrOBEX application or add the "Send to Ir Recipient"
option to the context menu.

I'm using this workaround: Open the IrOBEX application on Windows (it's
called irftp.exe). Navigate to the file you want to send to. Start the
receiving process on the Newton side. As soon as the Ir tray icon shows
up on the Windows side, click on send in the IrOBEX Windows app.
