Excellent point, Robert. Actually, in a sort of hypocritical move, you'll
probably be seeing more of me in the Newted.net forums, since Grant made
me a moderator when they were launched and I seem to be getting more of these
"new topic" notifications from it. But if I didn't get those in my
mailbox, I probably wouldn't remember to go look at it :)

So yeah, I mean, unless someone drops me a whack of cash so I can quit my
day job and develop the world's first fully integrated and interoperable
forum/mailing list system, web forums aren't going to happen.

Once again though, I'll offer to set up a read-only NNTP server - that
way you control when you get Newtontalk, but through an NNTP client. That
would be fairly trivial for me to set up.

So for all that want a forum I would propose that you list your favorite
Newton forums here on the list so that as much NewtonTalk users
as possible will turn up there.
