[NTLK] Web Browsing - I'm almost there...

Hi List, After receiving my Newton 2100 MP from Ebay
several weeks ago. I am advancing slowly but surely in
my Newton usership.

Using the DIL tester I was able to load packages from
a Bondi iMac using infrared.I now have a working
Compact Flash card (a whopping 8 megs) being used with
a PCMCIA adapter and Paul's ATA (demo, so only 4 megs
are working) support. Also, I have a wireless card
working using Noguchi's driver and a 3com Ethernet
pcmcia card working with help from Victor's
"chuma/ethernet" page. Last night I was able to dock
(NCU) to my slot loading iMac via ethernet. I am
pleased to have made it this far and thank all the
contributors to this list (current and past) It has
been pretty exciting to find so much info.

Now I want more help.

WEB BROWSING IS TOO SLOW! I can connect to a DSL
router with both wired and wireless Ethernet cards and
load a web page but it takes forever and seems to max
out before finishing the page load. I suspect it's a
memory and cache issue. I want to use words like
"soup" and "heap" but still don't really understand
what they mean. I am using both NewtsCape and
Nethopper.

Is this typical? Tell me I can improve this situation!
Thanks in advance for the help,
Jory``
