A stab in the dark, but is it possibly a Farallon Multi-Printer adapter?
The eMate solutions guide says the adapter could connect a Newton to
printers via 10BASE-T or PhoneNet. However, there's no picture and all the
Farallon pages I can find are missing pictures of this beast as well.
