100 KM is more like 62.14 miles--a mere hour's drive anywhere but in S.
Calif and NYC. :-) Nothing like...

An eight-hours' drive. Blech. I've driven from Pensacola to Pittsburgh or
Detroit in one day, but I don't recommend it (closer to 900 miles).
