I had Ferdi in Alberta do mine. No problems after about 8 months. It may drain
batteries a bit quicker or my rechargables may just be getting elderly. It is
'brighter' in the dark but i just got a back-up 2100 with very fresh green
backlight and it is 'brighter' if you use it in daylight or roomlight
conditions.
