I use always cursive HWR with good results because my HW is relatively
clear. The german HWR recognises all Umlauts automatically and I even don't
have to write them :-)

I never got a 100% accuracy with my Palm. The Graffitti is surprisingly
disappointing, I'd expected much better.

Herr Mailand,

I've had an unusual time with umlauts on my Newt (English OS 2.1). Sometimes it recognizes them, other times it thinks I am writing two periods.

Unfortunately for me, my opportunities to continue my German classes may be numbered. My school district near Chicago is having a vote to see whether the taxes can be raised. If the referendum doesn't pass, then I will be loosing my intermediate class opportunities. That would stink as I really want to learn German.

Also, looking at your fluency and overall knowledge of the English language and other things like computers, I assume you went to a Gymnasium for schooling, am I correct? (We were just learning about German schools in class)

Back on topic, I have little problems with Os. I try to type an o, but it turns into a zero (0) or a capital O
