This may not help Frank but, for the IMDb ebooks I have to use Microsoft
Word 5.1 (yes, 5.1) to read in RTF files and save them in native Word 5.1
format prior to importing into BookMaker.

Why on earth do I do something that silly when BookMaker supports RTF? It's
because otherwise I get the ellipsis from hell in which lines that are too
long are truncated with an ellipsis. So the word wrapping does not work
properly with RTF. It works fine with Word 5.1.

So my suggestion to you is to try different import formats and see if that
resolves the problem. Hope that's not a waste of time.

Regards,

...Tom
