After emailing my problems with my "New" Newt, I was
informed that the 3-day return policy is a DOA only.
Jerry did tell me though that he would accept my
Newton as a return and if the Newt tested out to have
the problems (jaggies) that I attested to, then he
would replace the unit.
Unfortunatly, the jaggies aren't bad enough to
manifest every time. Knowing my luck (I have none,
therefore don't rely on it) I would pay for shipping
back, the jaggies laughingly will not be there and
then most likely pay for shipping back...or I'll get a
replacement Newt that is worse off than what I got!
I'm not willing to take a chance!
So, what does this have to do with NPDS?
Well, my new Newt is calmly serving webpages at:

I am in the process of setting up NPDS and have two
really (hopefully) simple questions.
1) Getting registered with trackers. OK...I see the
tracker IP and tracker.cgi that is the default in
NPDS....but it seems that this tracker is no longer
valid. How do I register with an alternate?
2) GifServer. I was looking at another NPDS server and
the GIFs that were being served (desktop and screen
image) were in beautiful multi-shade greyscale. What
can I do to get the same? (click on my screen-shot
link on the server above to see what I mean.
So...help?
