I don't suppose that using the Soft Print Pack (the $10 package that lets
you print to whatever printer is hooked to your Windows machine, using the
Windows drivers, will make a difference in the print quality- the MP will
still be sending bitmapped stuff, right?

I've been meaning to try the SPP on my wife's Windows machine. But I need
to unload the HP drivers and revert to the Microsoft drivers for her HP5L,
and haven't got to that, yet.
