Postscript printing can only be done using an AppleTalk or EtherTalk
connection. I have not tried it, but I don't think the Soft print Pack uses
this connection to get to the desktop.

Maybe the Newton firmware could be patched to allow a serial connection to a
postscript printer - but I'm not sure it's worth it. Used Apple Postscript
Laser printers are in the $100 range on the surplus market. Most of these
sport LocalTalk networks, which will work fine.
