I'm also very interested in how to make a Newton = a phone. Does this only
work with the 2x00? Is this card freely available?

As for hands free, there's a kit you can get for $150 CAN, that hooks into
your car stereo that lets you go hands free. Obviously it's not portable,
but I've heard it works quite well, and works with any phone with a speaker,
and a mic...

Whoa, Nelly! I must've missed this one. Can anyone direct me to
information that tells how to make the newt into a phone? you can keep
this offlist if you want to, and email me directly.

If you get the Panasonic headset kx-tca87 you'll have a lovely,
comfortable headset with a moveable mic. I use it all the time with my
phone and it's great. It works with phones other than Panasonic, too.

Thanks.
