Done that already, a couple of times actually.

Even checked out my Hard Disk with Norton.

No big deal reinstalling everything -- just takes some time. Plus I have
a spare computer or two, so I won't be high and dry! :-)

Although, I am not up to Woo's Newton standards with his backup to the
backup to the backup Newt concept! :-o

I tend to do this every year or so anyway. Keeps the system running
well, and forces a house cleaning which is good.
