FWIW, I've been using PayPal to purchase Newts, accessories and other
devices via eBay and other sources.
So far, no problems. PayPal seems to work just fine.
As for Credit Card problems mentioned in various messages. Having used
various cards such as Visa, MC, Dinners Club, Discover, AMEX, etc. around
the world, security and problem resolution wise, the best that I've found
is American Express, bar none.
Someone mentioned exchange rates, In Japan, AMEX has favorable exchange
rates.
Visa has been the worst. The problem with Visa, and MC for that matter,
is that theren't one company that is Visa. Each bank, S&L, CU, etc.,
seem to have their own Visa card for the offering. Thus you have
different resolution channels. With AMEX, it's one company which makes
it much easier to deal with.
AMEX also has toll free numbers, and folks that actually want to help
you, manning their customer service.
Anyhow, my 2 cents...
