[NTLK] 1x License for Newt's Cape to Give Away

Hi all,

Unfortunately I managed to kill my MP2000 in the process of attempting
to upgrade it to a MP2100. I thought I did the soldering well but the
poor thing is dead. And trying to fix the problems just made things
worse (the PCB is no longer in a clean state to attempt repair). I knew
I should have just been happy with a MP2000. I'd advise you get someone
to solder it professionally. It is the hardest and most fine soldering
job I've ever attempted (and the first I've failed at). There is a
possibility I cooked the memory chips (or an even slighter possbility
that they had static damage in transit). I've already given parts of the
Newton away. So please don't ask me for it.

The timing means I never even got to try out a registered copy of Newt's
Cape. If someone mails me I'll let Steve know who I have chosen to take
over my registration of 24 October 2001. Whether you are charged an
administration fee is up to Steve.

Enjoy your Newton everyone. I'm reminded why I try and stick to
commodity hardware. I'll probably set up a webserver-based planner,
notepad etc. using SSL to get over my withdrawl.

Have fun,
Adam
