I found the ATT VNC Mac server to be problematic; it disconnected a bit and
also locked up my Mac (the server).

Try with the Chromatix (ChromicVNC I think it's called) alternate server
(there's a link to it from the ATT VNC pages- until "accessories" or other
apps or something. Several posts in the forums on the main VNC site
mention the alternate Mac server as being much more robust.

But I found newton-VNC and MacVNC client) to Mac server stability a bit
problematic; it works a lot better with the Windows servers, I think
there's been more attention paid to the Win server apps.
