Bob,

I actually share a modem line on my g4 with Vicom's
Internet Gateway. This works great (talk about keeping
a marriage happy!) and given that your adsl line is
USB you could simply run a crossover between your
ethernet port on your g4 and the newt (which is what I
do). The one drawback is that Vicom is dragging its
feet getting out an OS X version of IG out--I am
supposed to be testing a beta and they have been
postponing it for months. Vicom is at:
