I'm afraid I'm running out of thoughts right now...

So, you write a Works paper document on your eMate, just one word. Then, you
quit Works, launch the Dock, connect to your Wintel box that is already
running NCU, and when you select Export, the machine crashes? Do you have
the time to see anything else going on before the machine crashes, or does
it crash right there, after clicking the button? What do you mean by
"crash", BTW? The app freezes? Becomes irresponsive?

I know a lot of questions, but maybe that will triggered someone on the list
that dealt with the same issue. I haven't, since I'm not unfortunate enough
to be "borged"...

********************** Usual disclaimers apply **********************
evil and rude adj.: Both evil and rude, but with the additional connotation
that the rudeness was due to malice rather than incompetence. Thus, for
example: Microsoft's Windows NT is evil because it's a competent
implementation of a bad design; it's rude because it's gratuitously
incompatible with Unix in places where compatibility would have been as easy
and effective to do; but it's evil and rude because the incompatibilities
are apparently there not to fix design bugs in Unix but rather to lock
hapless customers and developers into the Microsoft way. Hackish evil and
rude is close to the mainstream sense of `evil'.
