How large was the smallest of those files? Has your eMate been upgraded with
the memory upgrade? Cannot offer any help right off the bat because I've
never done much transfer from Word to Works. And that was on a Macintosh.

I know, for a start, that you have to save those files as "RTF". Then, using
NCU, you should be able to upload them to your Newton, where you'll be able
to access them from NewtonWorks.

Are you able to do a backup with NCU? Upload packages?
