But don't forget, a LOT of things happen this way - look at typewriter
keys' layout - designed to slow down the typist as early mechanisms
jammed. Sometimes with new designs you've gotta force the unwashed
masses into a new paradigm of thought.

On a Newton-related comment (YAY!) what does everyone think would've
happened if the MPs had had a built-in "thumb-board" keyboard, or a tiny
keyboard like the Blackberry? I wonder if the market would be dominated
by Apple?
