So, then, apparently I misunderstood you, and we're saying the same
thing. I'm trying to say that these NewtonBooks are exactly the same as
Napster -- copyrighted material available to arbitrary people with only
a very very thin amount of identification/authentication needed.

Whether you think that's a good or bad thing is not my intent to
discuss; I just thought you were making a point that this was
necessarily fair use, which it's really not, legally, for better or
worse.

Sigh.
