That's an easy one: open Extras, tap the "i" button, select "Memory
Info", and tap on "Make 'Extras' the Backdrop".

Is there any difference between the two? Obviously, you can't have the
Palm OS version on the Newton. I for one prefer the Newton's own HWR anyway.
