I wouldn't delete Dateman, simply freeze him.

As for Action Names, with ver. 4, you can ostensibley link notes to names,
but I've never been able to get it to do it reliably. If you use the Action
Names stationery, you can do it, and it will work, but normal stationery has
always caused me problems in the Contact History view in Names.

BTW, with normal notes, you can simply create todos from the text you wrote.
Just add the word "remember" to what you want to do, hilite the text, and
tap assist. As far as "linking", simply make sure that your contact's full
name is in the note or title of whatever you do, and do a global search. The
Global search will search for every instance of that person's name, giving a
good overview of your dealings with him. Not only that, but you don't need
to open the names file to find your links. I use this a lot, and prefer this
method to AN, MoreInfo or Dateman. :-)
