NTLK Newt Books: Engineers Reference

Anyone aware of anything like this out there?

I was thinking of culling some 'key' data from the Industrial Press Machinery Handbook
(The 'Engineers Bible' - I've got the 23rd edition) and building it into a book, if it
hasn't been done before.

Is anyone else interested in this? If so, I'll take submissions - if not, I'll just do the
bits I'm interested in :-)

Key things I'd want:
* unit conversions
* thermal coefficients of expansion
* Tool steel grades
* [machining] cutting feeds and speeds, also rec. lubricants
* Heat treatment colours and temperatures - maybe also recommended levels for different
types of steels
* [some] advanced geometry stuff - faster than working it out from first principles

Drop me a line direct if interested. I'll be compiling for an MP2K screen - but it
wouldn't take much more work if wanted for a 1.x size....

All the best

-Darl
