hmmm, I've always used stuff designed for monitors and
camera lenses. The reason being is that cleaning the
screen is not good enough, you need to condition the
coating so that it won't get damaged. I've found that
alchohol has a tendency to dry (used alchohol on the
capstan on my 10" reel to reel and destroyed
it...luckily I was able to get a replacement) I've
seen horror stories relating to Windex type of
cleaners on computer monitors (anti-glare coating
flaking off and such) and tend to avoid using cleaners
on anything electronic or expensive! I would stop by a
camera store, get some lens cleaner and a nich
chamois. Alternatly, isn't there a company that sells
something called "brain cleaner" that is designed for
LCD displays? Think of what you are cleaning and think
about what you would do without it...Is that worth
saving a few pennies?
