I wrote a short while back that my Farallon PN595 EtherMac PC Card was
wreacing havoc on my crispy fresh new install of Mac OS 9, right?
Well, there has been a break-through.
It works. It was my fault that I didn't get it to work, but thanks to one
Craig A. Hunter, it now works fine. The trick is to not just drop the
extension into the Extensions folder, but do an official install from the
driver disk (image). Apparently, the installer makes some changes to the
System file that the extensions needs.
