has anyone cooked up a USB to Newton serial cable? i'm PowerBook shopping, and
while i'd like to get a Lombard model, the lack of classic serial ports scares
me.
i know this has been talked about in the past, but at the time it didn't
apply to me. reply to me off list and i can post a summary later.

I have a Lombard and I use an Ethernet to Serial adapter by Farallon. It worked very well and unlike the USB to serial solution, this also recognises all my networked Appletalk devices.
