I just found out that the mac version of newton press stores its layout
information in a file called "Newton Press Platforms". This file can be
found in one's preference folder. If you open the file with resedit you
will see a resc. called 'NPLT'. There is no templet. :) any one want to
help me make one?

from the page:
You can make your own size layouts by editing the PRESS.INI file (at least
for the PC version - I can't find the corresponding place in the Mac
version, but assume you might be able to ResEdit it...). Be careful not to
make your layout bigger than your Newton's screen, because you will not be
able to view the text!
