NTLK Never mind companies dropping Newton support...

....what about companies stopping development on popular products for
currently supported platforms like Palm? Here is a snippet from an
announcement from the developer of PayPal:

"We wish to inform you that X.com will be discontinuing support
of the PayPal software for Palm (TM) and Handspring (TM) organizers
approximately three weeks from now."

Rather than trying to encourage companies to add Newton support to their
products (we'll just continue to do that ourselves using hacks and raw
ingenuity) - the trick to perpetuating our platform of choice is to get
even more companies to simply drop Palm support instead! Hmmm.
