        This is a nice idea. Personally, what I'd like to see (considering
the fragile nature of the Newton interconnect port) would be a couple of
threaded holes in the case, and an aluminum "super dongle" that had a serial
port, AC adapter port and audio in/out ports. It could screw into the case,
so that no strain is put in the interconnect port. Something like this,
maybe (bad ASCII art follows):
        The exclamation points represent screws that attach to the case, the
octothorpes ("#") are audio in and out ports, the "~~~" is the serial port
and the "%%" is the AC adaptor port.
