these parts could be made of CAST aluminum.. reducing the amount of work
that dave has to do..
i'd really prefer a machined lid-lock and lid holders over a cast version ..
just for durability and wear..
as for the finish on these parts.. if they are cleaned and prepared
properly, they can be anodized, also..
now, if we could find someone to cast these parts, this will solve that
particular problem..
