Wondering what the group's advice would be regarding modem use on a MP 130:
I have the apple external 2400 (cigarette-pack) and a Practical Peripherals
28.8 PC card that the newton recognizes as a communications card. (I don't
have the internet software yet and am unable to test it further.)
Two questions: will the PC card likely work since the newton recognizes it?
And what are the pro's & con's of using each modem, ie speed v. battery life
in the newton? I'm using NIMH 1300ma batteries in it and plan to do only
email at this point.
