I've pasted pictures into NewtonPress by selecting a photo, choosing
select all in a photo edting program (Quicktake or Photoflash) and draging
onto the Newton press document window or copying in the Photo editor and
pasting into a Newton Press.
I think I got the same results starting with 16 greys , 256 greys or
color original images.

<<Hi,
I've been trying to create a pic that I can place on my Newton's screen.
Been following Avi's instructions, scale, 16 greys etc.
But when I add it to Newton Press, it tells me that it could not execute the
following command cuz of a parameter error, (error code -50), probably an
"invalid XTND translater, try deleting it from the prefs folder.' Well, I
tried to get rid of said XTND translater, but still no go.
Any ideas?
I'm using Newton Press, not updated it yet. What does the update do anyway??

Thanks a ton in advance!!>>
