NTLK Land Survey Applications for Newton...

Hello all,

I was wondering, are/were there ever any land survey software/applications for the newton? Considering that Tripod Data Systems uses an HP48 as a data collector to use with electronic total stations, it seems that the newton is the perfect platform for this kind of thing. It could replace fieldbooks, allow sketches, etc. Surely if a hp48 can do it, Newton can do it better!!

I was/am planning on recreating the survey pak used with the HP41 for my mp2k, but if something else much better then anything I can do is out there (and it would not have to be much to be better than me...) it would be a big help.

BTW - I have read and re-read the faq, went to the listed sites, and still can not find any info on a eigercom 56k modem. Does it work with a mp2000? Where would I find drivers?
