I keep always a few elder backups, just in case they would have some
pkgs or important data, which I erase later by chance. Also if there is
a hidden corruption in the backup file or in the Newton data which
leaves the backup going well but prevents the backup completely, you'll
be happy to restore to an elder state. From time to time I check also
how the restore works with my secon MP2k. That one is then up to date
with all informations and I know that my backup AND restore worked. Also
very useful would be to export the important data in txt format and have
it thus separate from the binary NCU data file. Last and least is there
also the real hardcopy of e.g. the names file.
