I don't know anything about type-1, but i do know that
the cards that I have in front of me that say
MagicLink on the front that have lithium batteries and
are 1mb in size slide into my Envoy, my MagicLink and
my Marco and are recognized in all...Of course, I have
to format them when to get them recognized, but they
do work and I have used them quite a bit for backups!
