I just used Soup Transport to beam the Names and Dates soup (over 1000
cards, over 4000 dates events) from my 2100 to my eMate.
Comments: a LOT faster than checking them all and beaming them one by one (I
did that between my two MP2100s...) a very clean process. You need Soup
Transport on the destination Newton too, so transferring the soup in any way
to Palm or 'phones w. BackTalk is out.
BUT, unless you are careful, you will wipe out the Owner and Worksite cards
on the destination Newton. Once the soup is in the In Box and you tag it to
put it away, you will be presented with soup union options - think carefully
about what entries you want to overwrite!
This is a great way to 'synch' two Newtons (technically it is actually a
slave/master relation, but anyway...)
