With the charge meter reading 100%, because I had just unplugged it from
the adapter, I turned my Newton off. An hour later I couldn't get it to
turn back on. Eventually I reset the thing and it turned on, but after I
turned it off again, it wouldn't start back up. I replace the battery
with normal duracells and it works fine again. My question is: Do the
rechargeable batteries just die like that?
