NTLK Backdrops

I suppose just about everyone uses one of the free backdrop applications if
they don't just use Extras or Notes. And I suppose that makes sense. But if
you don't mind paying a few dollars and would like to support someone who
still supports the Newton, you should try Backyard by Thorsten Lange. It
turns your backdrop into something like a bulletin board; you can pin little
notes up for yourself and then link these to notes or names. Let's say
someone gives you their phone number to call them back in a few minutes. You
don't need a whole name card or even a note. Just make a little note on the
backdrop and there's the number, right where you need it. When you make the
call, scrap the note. Much more accessable and "in your face" than a Notepad
note, which disappears when you make a ne note or scroll somewhere else.
Along with that, Thorsten, (who created that wonderful utility i++, by the
way), includes great button options and extra toolbar space. Very nice piece
of work, but I fear it gets forgotten with all the other choices out there.
Give it a look! While you're at it, check out WittyKeys, i++, and
AddressAccess! All first rate programs. You'll find it on his web page at
