NTLK Bad stuff in SYSTEM.INI file after loading NCU

Someone reported that Windows 98 had a problem finding a
non-existent device file at boot time, after they installed NCU.

I had this exact problem, but it didn't come from loading
NCU. That loaded fine. It happened when I loaded NCK after buying
a Newton 110. NCK installed the bogus line in SYSTEM.INI. I deleted
that entry and all was fine after that. The "device" isn't needed
by Windows 98. It's probably only needed in Windows 3.1.

SOOOO... Are you ABSOLUTELY SURE it was Newton Connection
UTILITIES you loaded, and not the Newton Connection KIT, for the 1.x
Newtons?
