latest news on microsofts synch-page is that the alpaca PIM wil implement
the iCal standard, which hopefully, someone will port to newton:

"The new integrated Calendar makes time management simple by enabling you to
organize your schedule and set reminders for important events, dates and
projects from any Office application. The Calendar can display a schedule by
month, week or day. It also includes a Today window, which simultaneously
displays the day's events and tasks. New events can be created quickly, and
meeting requests can be sent to others over e-mail using the iCal standard.
The Calendar can be shared easily with others over the Internet using the
Save Calendar as Web Page feature."
