Thanks a lot for this info, Joost.

Anyway, the ROM driver has a big bug in it, and it will take some
additional time.
However, on the contrary to what I have thought and said, I will try
to implement my own driver anyway. (in fact, I could fix the bug with
a system patch, but this would mean US MP 2x00 only, while I have
enough info to make something 2.0+ compatible, and maybe 1.x
compatible).
